Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN and is an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta is native to two languages. From the age of nine years old, Collins's capacity to speak two languages has led to her obtaining a job in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In 1992, her parents separated and shortly afterward in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo who was a naval engineer who died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. In June of the year 2006, Antonietta spent one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. At the time of her senior year in high school and yet knowing exactly about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta visited her local University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her needs. She loved the campus. They also offered her the major that she desired. After graduation, she attended the university as a media studies major. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the manager at WRMU (91.1 FM) in which she was a part of. It was he who inspired her confidence and whose passion for Journalism deeply touched her. She strived to fulfill his expectations always delivering on time.
